Job Title: Content Manager (Part-Time)
Location: (Travel/HQ) Travel between our Main office in Clayton, NC and our stores in Eastern/Central NC.
Hours: ~20-25 Hours/Week
Compensation: [$20 - $22/hour depending on experience]
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Content Manager to help us plan, create, and publish engaging content across digital channels. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys storytelling, has an eye for branding, and wants to make a meaningful impact in a growing company.
You'll work closely with leadership and the marketing team to ensure our brand message is consistent, fresh, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Plan, write, and schedule social media posts, newsletters, and digital content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Assist in creating engaging photo/video content for marketing campaigns.
- Update website content, landing pages, and store announcements as needed.
Brand & Creative Coordination
- Brainstorm and pitch new ideas for social media, seasonal campaigns, and promotions.
- Take and edit photos/videos in-store (optional based on skill set).
- Help maintain an organized library of digital assets (photos, videos, graphics).
Strategy & Execution
- Monitor engagement analytics and help improve content performance.
- Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and competitor activity.
- Work with marketing leadership to support monthly and quarterly content strategies.
Communication
- Collaborate with store teams to gather stories, updates, and content opportunities.
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate deadlines and approvals.
- Represent the brand with professionalism and positive energy.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style.
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Highly organized, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Retail or grocery background is a plus but not required.
