We are working with a client in Fort Lauderdale that is looking for a HR Manager to join their team. The role in onsite Monday - Thursday and Fridays are remote.


The ideal candidate will have experience processing Payroll in addition to HR experience and must have used Justworks payroll system in the past.


Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager will serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries, manage day-to-day HR operations, and support ongoing initiatives around engagement, performance, and talent management.

This role is ideal for someone who's energetic, proactive, and eager to take ownership of people processes that enhance the employee experience and help the organization grow.


Human Resource Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute HR initiatives that strengthen company culture and drive engagement.
  • Process payroll and serve as the main liaison with the organization's PEO provider.
  • Prepare accurate payroll reports for management and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters and contracts.
  • Lead new hire onboarding and facilitate team meetings, benefit updates, and internal events.
  • Advise leadership on performance management practices and assist with documentation and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy in contact information, job classifications, compensation, and employment status.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Assist with HR policy development and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Support additional administrative or operational projects as needed.


Human Resource Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Experience with Justwork Payroll System a MUST
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, employee engagement, or talent development.
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
