The Executive Vice President, Community Management is an exciting position that directly impacts the company's success. As a company executive, this role is pivotal in shaping the direction of the company as well as the successful implementation of strategic initiatives. The expansive nature of this position involves oversight of client relations, team performance, financial outcomes, and service quality across all regional locations of the company.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Client Success
  • Build a sustainable model that ensures overall satisfaction to achieve retention objectives along with meeting or exceeding YoY goals.
  • Continuously using metrics to gauge the health of the accounts, i.e., healthy business goals are achieved.
  • Develop innovative approaches that “wow” clients and differentiate our company from its competitive set.
Strategic Leadership
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic vision and growth plans, ensuring key messages are cascaded throughout the community management team.
  • Grow our reach - develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's presence in current and emerging markets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead business development initiatives that add to the company's financial performance.
  • Develop a strong succession pipeline through mentorship, networking, client assignments and training.
  • Monitor regional performance and leverage best practices for the greater good.
  • Foster an engaged, accountable, and client-focused workplace culture that is sensed in each regional location.
Operational Effectiveness & Strategy
  • Lead company initiatives that lead to sustainable change or improvement in performance.
  • Lean into innovative strategies that build talent pipelines, technology capabilities, heighten brand awareness or other means to differentiate us from industry peers.
  • Play the role of “integrator” between community management and operations that drive overall client satisfaction.
  • Implement consistent retention/reporting mechanisms to help standardize tools and processes that optimize the performance of the community management team.
  • Perform all other duties as business needs require.
Requirements
Qualifications & Preferred Attributes:
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in the industry, managing homeowners' associations, large-scale, or related experience; mid- or high-rise experience strongly desired.
  • 10 years of supervisory experience; effective in motivating and building strong teams.
  • AMS®, PCAM®, or LSM® designations required
  • In-depth experience with staff management, project management, budget management and strategic goal development.
  • Proven capability of leading during times of change, growth, and organizational transition
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent negotiator, influencer, and relationship-builder.
Availability
Regular business hours and other events after regular business hours, as necessary. Ability to travel within and outside of the state up to 70% of the time with in-person presence within the region for up to weeks at a time.
