A top-tier national contractor is seeking a Project Executive to lead major power generation programs—including traditional, renewable, and emerging energy infrastructure—across multiple U.S. regions. This leader will shape client strategy, strengthen industry relationships, and oversee the execution of complex, multi-disciplinary projects with significant MEP and commissioning requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive oversight for power generation projects, from pursuit through commissioning, ensuring performance across safety, schedule, and financials.
- Cultivate and leverage industry relationships with utilities, IPPs, EPCs, engineering partners, and trade contractors to support business development and repeat work.
- Guide pursuit strategy including estimating, proposal development, design coordination, and contract negotiations.
- Lead multi-site project teams, developing high-performing talent and driving consistent operational standards.
- Ensure integration of major equipment packages, MEP systems, start-up processes, and complex commissioning activities.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and client strategy sessions to promote growth in the energy and power sector.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, or heavy industrial construction.
- Established network within the utilities, EPC, or IPP communities.
- Proven track record overseeing large, technically complex projects $50M–$200M+.
- Deep knowledge of MEP systems, power equipment installation, commissioning, and schedule-critical operations.
- Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and modern construction management tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% nationwide.
