Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee multifamily residential construction projects in the Kansas City area. This role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, permitting, and quality control.
• Manage daily on-site operations, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams, providing regular progress updates and addressing questions or concerns.
• Monitor project performance and identify risks or issues early, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation to maintain accurate records and accountability.
• Assist with estimating, planning, and resource allocation for future projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in multifamily construction or related residential projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting budget, schedule, and quality goals.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) preferred.
