Operations Manager

About the Role

Train, orient, coach, discipline and motivate employees. Oversee all warehouse staff activities: picking, packing, and staging orders; cleanliness of space; load trucks.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching: assess all orders for product and appropriate mode of delivery and schedule deliveries.
• Manage customer service staff if applicable. (Site specific)
• Manage and assist in coordinating efforts between supporting departments within the site.
• Create a productive department through written and verbal communication.
• Project a positive image to peers and subordinates; to the customers we serve to the industry in which we participate, and to the community in which we live by producing a cost-efficient, quality product in a productive environment.
• Coordinate needed support to operations areas through an intradepartmental interface for smooth workflow and cost-efficient product.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.

Required Skills

• Two to three years of warehouse management work experience, distribution, and forklift driving experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Must have a current and valid driver's license. (Site specific)
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
