Comp: $300,000 (based on exp.) plus bonus opportunity

A leading General Contractor is seeking a seasoned Program Manager – Construction to lead and oversee large-scale, multi-project programs across Aviation, K-12 Education, Life Sciences, and Mission Critical Facilities. This is a strategic leadership role ideal for a high-level construction professional with a strong operational and client-facing background from a large national or global general contracting firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Leadership
  • Lead full program lifecycle execution across multiple projects and clients within key sectors (Aviation, K-12, Life Sciences, Mission Critical). With full P&L responsibility.
  • Provide executive-level management of budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and performance metrics across all program elements.
  • Ensure consistency in project delivery, quality standards, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, and partners throughout the program duration.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders; ensure alignment with client goals and evolving needs.
  • Facilitate high-level meetings, reporting, and decision-making with internal and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Direct and mentor project teams, including Project Executives, Project Managers, and field personnel.
  • Coordinate closely with estimating, preconstruction, operations, and safety teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, quality, and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in program-level or executive project oversight roles.
  • Experience leading large, complex construction programs in Aviation, Education (K-12), Life Sciences, and/or Mission Critical sectors.
  • Proven background with a large General Contractor, overseeing teams and programs exceeding $100M in value.
  • Exceptional leadership, client relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
  • PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
