Operations Manager

About the Company

The ideal candidate will have an ability to constantly improve and maintain efficient operational support for assigned managed transportation clients. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience, prior to being a current OM, as an operations specialist, customer service coordinator and / or truckload / LTL capacity coordinator.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and service for daily and weekly operations.
• Manage the daily functions of assigned portfolio of managed transportation accounts.
• Partner with sourcing, business analytics and capacity management to drive high value to our clients as well as delivering required internal business results.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed around tendering freight to approved carrier partners.
• Hire and develop team associates as required.
• Grow and maintain knowledge base of Corsair TMS, Tableau and all other tools added to our tech stack that ensures Novapath continues to be the leading North American technology enabled managed transportation services company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as operations manager within a non-asset transportation 3PL
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask
• Comfort partnering with multiple groups within business
