Junior Designer | Architect

We are expanding our MVRDV team in New York!
MVRDV is looking for an Architect I Designer with excellent design, graphic, and communication skills to join our New York team. We work on a wide range of diverse projects in the North American region, and we're looking for someone who brings both strong ideas as well as a hands-on attitude to the table. As part of a growing team, we look for an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to assist with business development. This is an in-person position, with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.
You will be working on projects under the responsibility of Frans de Witte, Director of the Americas region and Partner at MVRDV located in Rotterdam, together with Rutger Huiberts AIA NCARB, Director New York Office.

Who we are looking for:
- At least 1 year experience in a similar position.
- A Master's degree in Architecture.
- Knowledge and experience in large-scale projects.
- Experience in multi-family residential and affordable housing is preferred.
- Excellent design and graphic skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Experience with Revit, and Rhino is an asset.
