The Opportunity

Love construction and technology? This role lets you combine both passions every day while visiting some of the most exciting commercial and residential projects across Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts.

This is a fully field-based position operating from our headquarters in Needham, MA. You work from home and directly on job sites—no daily office commute required.

What You'll Do

• Visit multiple construction projects daily throughout Greater Boston and across New England, documenting them using digital photography, 360° cameras, drones, laser scanners, and other reality-capture tools.
• Follow specific shoot paths on each visit to ensure complete and consistent coverage.
• Upload all captured photos, videos, scans, and data to Multivista's secure online platform for client access.
• Receive comprehensive training on all Multivista service lines and technologies.
• Interact professionally with project managers, superintendents, and trades on site.
• Provide regular project updates to management and sales teams.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional documentation services to clients.
• Complete data processing, quality checks, and uploads from home after field work (typically after 4–5 pm).

Skills & Requirements

• Construction experience not required, but a basic understanding of the industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, floor plans, and documents is helpful but not mandatory.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (we will train/certify if needed).
• FAA Part 107 drone license preferred (we will help you obtain if needed).
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (required).
• Ability to safely and confidently navigate active construction job sites.
• Comfortable being on your feet and walking job sites most of the day.
• Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs (including up/down stairs when necessary).
• Willing and able to work on a computer after field hours to finish daily tasks.
• Able to work in outdoor weather conditions and typical construction environments (dust, noise, wind, etc.).
• Strict adherence to all job-site safety rules and willingness to wear provided PPE at all times.
• No fear of heights, scaffolding, or typical construction environments.
• Professional appearance and demeanor when representing Multivista on site.
• Strong communication skills and comfort coordinating with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, smartphones, tablets, and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Able to pass a clean CORI background check.

Ideal Candidate Location

Greater Boston area or anywhere within daily driving distance of active construction projects in Eastern Massachusetts and across New England (you work from home and on job sites; no regular travel to the Needham office is required).

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 35–45 per week
• Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts) with occasional weekends as needed
• Travel: 100% local travel within Eastern Massachusetts
• Experience Level: No prior experience required – we train the right candidate
• Work Location: On the road / work-from-home (field-based in Greater Boston region; headquarters in Needham, MA)
