Real Estate Asset & Acquisition Management Analyst opportunity based in Jupiter, FL with an owner
Client operates as a private equity commercial real estate holding company with a primary focus on acquiring and operating value-add industrial properties across Florida. The company's portfolio includes approximately 50 properties, offering more than one million square feet of leasable space, and continues to grow.
Position Overview
The right candidate will assist senior staff with financial analysis, market data research, and will manage and optimize the company's real estate assets. The duties include creating financial models, preparing performance reports, and making recommendations on budgeting, strategy, and risk management. This role supports senior management in making strategic, financial decisions to increase profitability and achieve long-term goals. The ideal candidate should have three to five years of experience in the Asset Management field, preferably within the industrial real estate sector with knowledge of the Florida market.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyze and underwrite potential real estate investment opportunities using Argus and Excel-based financial models.
• Conduct market research and track key trends, including lease and sale comparables, to support investment decisions.
• Prepare investment memorandum materials
• Support due diligence efforts for awarded deals, including document review, financial validation, and coordination with stakeholders
• Support disposition and refinancing efforts, as needed
• Work with the Operations team on lease reviews
• Periodically re-evaluate existing assets using discounted cash flow and comparable sales analysis.
• Assist with leasing analysis, property budgeting, and long-term asset strategy development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• Preferred majors: Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in real estate or investment analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Argus Enterprise (AE).
• Solid understanding of financial concepts such as time value of money, return on investment, and discounted cash flow.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and proactive in a team setting.
