Our client a leading sustainable investment platform is seeking an analyst to join their small team. This role has a broad range of IR responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of investment approach to support the team
  • Help support growth efforts (i.e., support new relationship sourcing, identify high-priority clients, create due diligence materials) in collaboration with the Associates, Director, and Partners
  • Source information and write responses to questions for the purpose of responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and maintain the firm's database of responses, ensuring accuracy and consistency of language
  • Assist in monitoring portfolio performance, exposures, risk metrics, and adherence to investment policy guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams (investment research, operations) to support client needs and improve internal processes
  • Create client communication materials (i.e., monthly reporting, investor update letters, client investment committee materials, and case studies)
  • Respond to client inquiries and with accurate, timely information, and support new client onboarding
  • Maintain data integrity across internal systems, CRM, and reporting platforms
  • Support business development efforts by helping draft and coordinate pitch materials for prospective clients
  • Research and analyze business development trends, competitor activities, and industry standards to help proactively meet client needs and aid in business growth
  • Organize and assist with Capricorn-hosted client-facing events
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism and client service in all interactions


Additionally:


  • Support the Firm's Director of IR, General Partners, and other senior professionals in cultivating relationships with existing and prospective investors, and managing external communications in a manner consistent with Firm and industry best practices
  • Help support fundraising efforts (i.e., support new relationship sourcing, identify high-priority accounts, create data room and diligence materials) in collaboration with the IR Director and Associate IR and other senior professionals
  • Maintain a client relationship management (CRM) system for prospect tracking and ongoing client management purposes
  • Assist with qualitative and analytical client requests, providing timely and professional service
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by assisting with content creation, conference & event preparation, and general branding initiatives
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance and streamline internal processes, including the management of investor onboarding and reporting systems
  • Collect, organize, and synthesize information from external databases to help with prospective client outreach and prepare client solutions team members for meetings and events
  • Research and analyze business development trends, competitor activities, and industry standards to help proactively meet client needs and aid in business growth
  • Organize and assist with hosted client-facing events
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism and client service in all interactions


Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in investment consulting, asset management, banking, client service, business development, or a related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience maintaining a CRM system is preferred
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with clients
  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail, ensuring that work is complete, accurate and on time
  • Demonstrated interest in private investments, the asset management industry, sustainable investing, and/or the investor relations field
  • Minimum education: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or liberal arts field


Base $100-$115K + bonus + benefits
