Your Role:
As a Medical Records Processor, you will play an essential role in maintaining accurate and organized patient records for our outpatient clinics.
- Retrieve medical documents using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality
- Respond to requests for medical records from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical records or healthcare administration is a plus
- Previous experience in medical records processing or health information management preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Proficient in using EMR systems and basic computer software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
