About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Program Manager who thrives at the intersection of technology, client strategy, and operational excellence. In this role, you will own client relationships and oversee the execution of digital medical engagement programs from start to finish.

You'll translate client objectives into actionable workflows, collaborate closely with developers using structured user stories, and champion platform adoption across diverse client teams. If you enjoy leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges and inspiring clients to think creatively about digital engagement—this is your role.

This position is both strategic and hands-on. You will manage your own programs, guide project teams, and influence the evolution of our platform by channeling client feedback into product innovation.

What You'll Do

Client Leadership & Strategy

- Serve as the day-to-day strategic partner for pharma and biotech clients, as well as medical communications agencies

- Uncover opportunities to expand platform use and deliver more value

- Represent ExtendMed as a trusted advisor at every stage of engagement

Technology Enablement

- Develop a strong understanding of our platform's capabilities and roadmap

- Translate client business requirements into clear, concise developer user stories

- Identify workflow enhancements, opportunities for automation, and tech-enabled efficiencies

- Drive platform adoption by training and guiding client teams

Program Ownership

- Define goals, timelines, and success metrics for all assigned programs

- Manage cross-functional execution with precision and accountability

- Prepare accurate documentation: project plans, status reports, meeting notes, change requests, resource needs

- Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet compliance and client expectations

Process + Performance

- Monitor internal workflows and recommend improvements

- Report on operational health and program performance

- Contribute to scalable processes that enhance client delivery across the organization

Required Experience

- 2+ years of project or program management experience (healthcare or SaaS preferred)

- Experience with project management tools (Atlassian/Jira, MS Project, etc.)

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

- Comfort working across technical and non-technical teams

- Prior experience with digital engagement, med communications, or life sciences is a strong plus
