EMH&T is looking for a Project Administrator to work with our Industrial & Logistics team located in Columbus, OH.

The Industrial & Logistics team supports rail clients, trucking facilities, warehouses, intermodal facilities, data centers, car dealerships, medical campuses, senior living facilities, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support by attending staff meetings, creating and maintaining records on work in progress, providing updates on deadlines and work submissions. 
  • Request scope/fee from consultants for project tasks, prepare proposals or work orders for submission to clients to obtain work. While utilizing our accounting software, open-up project numbers as well as prepare, send, track, and finalize professional service agreements and task order for our various consultants.
  • Listen to project conference calls or web-conferences and create meeting minutes and tasks. Track each senior team member's projects, budgets, consultants, proposals, etc. for ease of reference for the entire team.
  • Work with team lead/manager to review various sites and provide due diligence documents from municipal websites or conversations needed to advance a project.
  • Work with the project engineer or manager to submit project permits including tracking and following up with the various entities to obtain approval.
  • Provide other administrative support such as arranging deliveries, ordering materials, scanning contracts, arranging and setting up meetings, preparing meeting minutes, training sessions, gathering documents needed for proposals, maintaining electronic filing systems, archiving, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, 
  • Work experience, including internships or co-op experiences in a professional office setting and exposure to engineering consulting firm environment, preferred.
