About the Role

A leading real estate investment firm is seeking an Assistant to join its Portfolio Management team, supporting the oversight and performance of a national commercial real estate portfolio. This role provides hands-on exposure to data analysis, financial modeling support, portfolio reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and day-to-day portfolio operations. The firm values professionalism, accuracy, organization, and a strong desire to build a long-term career in commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, organize, and analyze portfolio data, files, and third-party research to support decision-making.

  • Maintain and coordinate internal portfolio documents, models, folders, and reporting materials.

  • Assist with updates to ARGUS and Excel models, including rent rolls, operating expenses, and capital planning inputs.

  • Review tenant lease documents and financial statements to extract key terms and data points.

  • Partner with Asset Management and Accounting teams to collect and verify necessary information.

  • Prepare charts, graphs, presentations, and spreadsheets for meetings, senior leadership, clients, and consultants.

  • Support Business Intelligence initiatives, including data importing, reporting, and system tasks.

  • Coordinate team meetings and maintain documentation for ongoing portfolio discussions.

  • Contribute to special analytical projects and ad hoc requests for management and internal stakeholders.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.

  • 0–2 years of experience in real estate, financial analysis, accounting, or related fields.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ARGUS experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and long-term industry growth.
