HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM SUPERVISOR

The County of Maui, Department of Housing, Federal Housing Programs Division, is seeking qualified self-motivated applicants with strong supervisory skills; a demonstrated track record in guiding teams to accomplish specific, measurable objectives; the ability to prepare and operate within an annual budget; and the ability to work with program clients, private sector landlords, civic leaders, and other interested parties in achieving program goals.
Responsibilities Will Include But Is Not Limited To
Supervises, organizes, coordinates, plans, and evaluates the professional services of the Section 8 Program. Reviews the work of subordinates in eligibility, determination client/landlord orientation and mediation, quality control and fraud. Ensures that the program activities adhere to applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, political science, sociology, psychology, or related field and 2 years professional experience in a program dealing with social services, health, or education. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Strong oral and writing skills are required.Salary Range: $70,000 to $75,000 annually
