A rapidly growing, multi-site organization backed by a leading private equity firm is seeking a Vice President, Human Resources to build, scale, and elevate the People function during a period of significant expansion and transformation.


This is a pivotal leadership role for a strategic HR operator who excels equally at setting direction and rolling up their sleeves. The company is in growth mode, acquisitive, and preparing for major organizational advancements including a full HRIS implementation and the professionalization of core people processes.


What You'll Lead

  • Build a modern, scalable HR function that supports a dynamic, distributed workforce.
  • Drive the integration of newly acquired businesses, including alignment of policies, practices, culture, titles, and compensation.
  • Lead HR technology transformation by implementing a full HRIS platform and creating unified, reliable data and reporting.
  • Elevate foundational HR processes across recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, influencing decisions on organizational design, leadership capability, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Assess and develop the HR team, upgrading capabilities where needed to support growth.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and field leadership to ensure people strategy accelerates business outcomes.


What You Bring

  • Experience leading the HR function in a private equity–backed or high-growth, multi-location environment.
  • Proven success integrating acquisitions from an HR standpoint (payroll, benefits, cultural integration, communication, onboarding).
  • Demonstrated ability to scale HR in a lean environment balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Strong HRIS implementation or integration experience, with the ability to create data-driven clarity and accountability.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leadership.
  • A builder's mindset comfortable creating structure, improving processes, and driving change in an evolving environment.
