Overview:
We are a fast-growing RegTech firm seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Testing Analyst to help shape, enhance, and execute testing solutions for our financial services clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and documenting manual compliance testing procedures, with strong familiarity across one or more consumer financial products, including mortgage, deposits, credit cards, auto loans, and personal loans.
Position Summary
The Director of Program/Project Management leads the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs and projects across the organization. This role oversees project governance, ensures alignment with business objectives, drives operational excellence, and manages a team of program and project managers to deliver business-critical initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
- Oversee the full lifecycle of programs and large-scale projects, from intake and prioritization through delivery and transition to operations.
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
- Ensure projects are aligned to corporate strategy, business goals, and KPIs.
Governance & Portfolio Management
- Establish and optimize project governance frameworks, standards, methodologies, and best practices (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Manage the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring transparency, prioritization, and effective resource allocation.
- Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms for executive visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between executives, business units, and delivery teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, remove blockers, and ensure effective communication throughout the organization.
- Influence decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of program and project managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence in delivery.
- Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
Risk, Compliance, & Change Management
- Identify and proactively manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Lead change management strategies, including stakeholder adoption, training, and communication.
Budgeting & Resource Management
- Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Partner with finance and operational leaders to optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of program and project management experience, with 5+ years leading teams.
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi-year, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project portfolio management (PPM) tools.
Preferred:
- Master's degree (MBA or related).
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certifications.
- Experience in enterprise transformation, digital initiatives, or PMO leadership.
